On Friday, 22 November 2024, I had the honor of hosting and moderating the first RICS Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Networking event in Tabuk, held at the MENA Hotel. This event marked a significant milestone, as it brought together professionals from across the region to engage in meaningful discussions and share industry insights.
The turnout was remarkable, with participants joining from multiple remote locations to collaborate and learn. Their enthusiasm and active participation truly highlighted the importance of such gatherings in fostering professional growth and networking opportunities.
We were privileged to have valuable insights delivered by our esteemed speakers:
- Freddie Luke FRICS
- Jordan MacArthur
Their contributions added immense value to the event and sparked engaging discussions that resonated with the audience.
A heartfelt thanks to the RICS KSA Board, represented by Laeeq Hassan, MSc (QS), FRICS, FAIQS, PQS, CQS, ACIArb, Chair of the RICS KSA Regional Advisory Board, for their unwavering support in coordinating and sponsoring this event.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to the dedicated RICS team for their efforts in ensuring the success of this initiative:
- Laura Waind
- Jordan D’Gama MRICS
- Phil Whittam
- Babar Zaheer Arshad, BSc (QS), MRICS, MCIOB
This event is a testament to RICS’s commitment to fostering professional development and strengthening connections within the industry. I look forward to more such opportunities to collaborate and contribute to the growth of our profession in the region.
